Melanie Reyes Santos is a 4th year Communication major with a double minor in Education and Sociocultural Linguistics from Monterey Bay, California. Her study of Communication at UCSB sparked her interest in education and community building, especially after her experience as a Research Assistant. She plans to graduate this upcoming Spring of 2023 and hopes to pursue a graduate program in educational counseling. She is currently an active member of Hermanas Unidas, serving as the Public Relations chair in 21-22 and a blog writer for the Women’s Network. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, reading and attending concerts.
