Research & Internship Opportunities

Communication majors have a number of opportunities to participate in faculty and graduate students' research projects through SONA, as well assist faculty and graduate students conduct research, earning Comm 199 or 199RA credit; non Comm majors can register for Comm 99. Click on the Comm Research opportunities on the left side of this page. We encourage Communication majors to contact faculty and graduate students if they are interested in getting involved in their research projects. The faculty and graduate students in the Department of Communication are often looking for undergraduate research assistants (RAs) and are excited to hear from interested undergrads. 

In addition to participating in or conducting research, the Department of Communication offers assistance in locating internship opportunities.
