Monica Cornejo Awarded a Graduate Student Fellowship

Monica Cornejo has been awarded a Graduate Student Fellowship as part of the UC Collaborative to Promote Immigrant and Student Equity (UC PromISE). The proposed project, “A Latent Profile Analysis of Undocumented College Students and Students of Mixed-Status Families’ Advocacy Communication Strategies,” was selected for its innovation, contribution to the literature, and potential to inform policy. As part of the fellowship, she will receive a $7,000 fellowship stipend to support her effort on this project. Monica adds that her faculty advisor, Jennifer Kam, was instrumental in helping her to design the study.
