The Department of Communication has issued a press release for its upcoming Career Day on Saturday, April 28, 2012, 12:30-4pm, Humanities & Social Sciences Building (HSSB) Courtyard, UCSB.

Each spring, during the All Gaucho Reunion, the UCSB Department of Communication and its Alumni Council hold a career day event. This event welcomes alumni back to campus for an afternoon of career panel presentations to undergraduate students. Each year, the event draws more than 400 undergraduate students for an afternoon of career education and networking. Plans are solidifying for our 4th Annual Career Day on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
The event provides basic information and networking for students who are looking for jobs and internships. In addition, it helps connect alumni and local businesses to students who can help fill their needs. Local businesses are invited to participate in Communication Career day through several levels of sponsorship opportunities. These opportunities allow businesses to participate as well as get their name and logo on event materials for students to see.
